Shirley joined the MOR team as a student intern in February 2023 and primarily works on the CAN and PHENO studies. She is currently pursuing a B.A. in Public Health Studies and Behavioral Biology at Johns Hopkins (co 2025). When not in lab or school, Shirley works as an EMT and Firefighter in Baltimore County, and as a harm reduction and wound care advocate at The Lighthouse at Peer Point. She hopes to pursue an MD/PhD after graduating. In her free time, Shirley enjoys going to trivia, trying new restaurants, and traveling the world.
