
Dr. Bergeria is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Baltimore, MD. She is a behavioral pharmacologist with expertise in the measurement, mechanisms and treatment of opioid use disorder, opioid craving, and opioid withdrawal. She has received funding to conduct research on the treatment of opioid use disorder from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and from ACTTION – a public-private partnership with the Food and Drug Administration.
