Lea Marineau is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a board-certified adult nurse practitioner. Broadly, her program of research is focused on the intersection of substance use and trauma, as well as psychosocial and clinical predictors of substance use treatment outcomes among diverse populations, including pregnant and postpartum people. She is particularly interested in improving opioid use disorder treatment for trauma-impacted and marginalized populations. She earned her Ph.D. and MSN from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
