
Dr. McKendrick is a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. She obtained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Penn State College of Medicine. Her expertise is in behavioral neuroscience, with a focus in the neural substrates underlying opioid withdrawal and formed associations between opioid use and contextual environments. Within the MOR program, she is studying both the characterization of withdrawal phenotypes in patients with OUD, as well as therapeutic options for comorbid OUD and chronic pain.
